About the Rebate

The Home Insulation Rebate from Efficiency Manitoba helps homeowners save on energy costs by offering rebates based on the R-value added to insulated areas. To qualify, projects must cover a minimum of 100 square feet, and rebates are calculated based on both the R-value added and the area insulated. By upgrading insulation in your attic, walls, or foundation walls, you can improve home comfort and receive financial support through this program.

Eligibility Criteria

Homeownership: Applicants must be homeowners with an active Manitoba Hydro account in their name.
Primary Residence: The home must be occupied year-round as the primary residence or that of a tenant.
Project Timing: Insulation work must not begin, and materials must not be purchased or removed, before application approval.
Previous Rebates: The home must not have already received a rebate for the area being upgraded.
Registered Providers: Work must be completed through a contractor or retailer registered with Efficiency Manitoba.

How To Apply
